The squadron's commitment extends beyond the hangar, reaching into the wider community through events designed to educate and entertain. Air shows, open hangar days, and special gatherings provide opportunities for the public to engage with vintage aviation in a meaningful way. These occasions also serve as a backdrop for honoring recipients of the Medal of Honor and other brave individuals whose stories deserve to be remembered. By combining historical preservation with public engagement, the unit continues to inspire appreciation for the dedication and courage of past aviators. Each event reflects the squadron's ongoing mission to celebrate and share a remarkable legacy.

Based at Meacham Airport, the squadron operates from a hangar devoted entirely to the rehabilitation and care of its aircraft. The facility serves as both a workshop and a gathering place for volunteers, supporters, and curious visitors. In addition to hands-on restoration work, the hangar hosts educational activities and welcomes those interested in learning more about the aircraft's history and significance. Members are encouraged to contribute their unique skills, whether in mechanics, storytelling, or event coordination. The hangar stands as a testament to the spirit of collaboration, where expert craftsmanship and shared passion come together to keep a legendary aircraft flying proudly.

Membership in the squadron represents more than participation; it embodies a shared commitment to ideals that honor the past while inspiring the future. Financial contributions and volunteer hours together sustain ongoing restoration efforts, educational outreach, and the careful preservation of a historic aircraft. The organization also supports the broader goals of the Commemorative Air Force, ensuring that the legacy of aviation pioneers endures.
